Khen classes in Hmong villages

Preserving the cultural heritage of the Hmong ethnic group

🎵 Since the start of the school year, in partnership with the administration of Khau Ly School, we have set up Khen classes, a traditional musical instrument of the Hmong ethnic group. These classes are led by Giao, a 60-year-old father and farmer, who is also a specialist of this iconic mouth organ and a knowledgeable expert in Hmong culture. Twice a week, he passionately shares his knowledge with a group of 25 middle-school students 😊 A beautiful transmission of ancestral culture to the younger generation 🫶🏼🤩
