For the past 5 years, we've been running annual awareness and information campaigns on menstruation and feminine hygiene for teenage girls in the Khammouane province of Laos. This action is essential to prevent girls who lack protection and good hygiene from dropping out of school. 👩🏻‍🏫 At the beginning of February, the Sourires d'Enfants team ran several sessions in the Lang Khang and Boualapha secondary schools to explain the different stages of the female cycle and teach the basic rules of feminine hygiene. Each teenager received a comic strip on this theme designed by Laos Solidarity, washable sanitary towels, panties and soap 🧼
