For the past 5 years, we have been running a vocational training program for young people. The economic and social situation is very difficult for Laotian youth, faced with inflation of over 25%! Many decide to emigrate to Thailand to find a job and a more stable situation. We're trying our best to support our young seamstresses trained from 2020 to 2022: our local team has been visiting them regularly since they opened their own home workshops! 🧵 They make traditional shirts and skirts for local use, but also washable sanitary towels for the training cycles we organize twice a year for teenage girls in the villages of Lang Khang 🤩
