Tuyet, who managed the arrangements for our return to Vietnam until the end of June, and Sinh, our new project manager since July 1st, have just carried out a field mission in the village of Khau Ly, in the new Province of Lao Cai (created from the administrative merger of Yen Bai and Lao Cai)! The rainy season is still in full swing, the roads were sometimes difficult, but the landscapes were magnificent 🌧️ 🏫 On the agenda: meeting with the school principal, the contractor who will be in charge of building the sanitation facilities, the head of Phinh Ho Commune with whom we will be signing an agreement, and the local authorities responsible for education and health. This visit made it possible to define our action plan for the coming months. Starting in September, Sinh, who will be moving to the Province of Lao Cai to be as close as possible to our projects, will conduct surveys among students and teachers to best identify the needs of the future beneficiaries of our actions 😎
