As part of our vocational training program for young people in the villages of Lang Khang in Laos, we have just organized a sewing and handicraft workshop in which 10 young girls took part! Artisans from Vientiane's Xon Phao center came to lead sessions on making washable fabric sanitary towels, bags from recycled materials and jewelry. Graduating in sewing in 2022, the trainees have acquired new skills and will be able to develop their professional activity thanks to the invaluable advice of their trainers. This training course was financed by a participatory funding campaign launched among our donors and loyal friends. Many thanks to all!
