Following the merger with the Lumières partagées association, Sourires d'Enfants has taken over the maintenance of over 60 solar lighting installations in schools in the Commune of Boukoumbé in the north-west of the country. Our local partner “Les Mille Lucioles” is undertaking a vast agricultural program to develop income-generating activities and contribute to the self-financing of the schools: a hectare of cassava has already been planted, and a hectare of pineapple will be planted next week 🍍🌾🥔
